NW Heating & Plumbing is an independent heating and plumbing business based in Shepperton. Owned and run by Nigel Watts, we have been trading locally since 2003.

Nigel is a fully Gas Safe registered and LPG-qualified engineer with a mechanical engineering background. He began his career with a mechanical engineering apprenticeship at BP in 1989 and spent several years working on specialist pipework, laboratory systems, and high-pressure installations at BP’s Sunbury research centre. That experience shaped a careful, methodical approach that still underpins our work today.

We carry out full central heating installations, boiler installations, servicing and repairs, power flushing, hot water cylinders, and gas safety inspections for homeowners and landlords. Alongside heating, we also undertake bathroom installations and general plumbing, from small repairs to complete installations.

We work primarily with homeowners, landlords, and letting agents, as well as local businesses where domestic heating and plumbing expertise is required. Many of our customers have worked with us for years and continue to recommend us to others.

Based in Shepperton, most of our work is within a five-mile radius, but we cover all surrounding areas and parts of South West London. We are happy to travel further when a job requires detailed fault-finding or experienced diagnosis.

Customers value our punctuality, clean and tidy working, clear advice, and fair pricing. We focus on doing the job properly, respecting the home we are working in, and keeping disruption to a minimum. Our approach is practical, engineering-led, and built on long-term relationships rather than quick fixes.

Nigel lives locally in Shepperton and takes pride in supporting the local area. Outside work, he enjoys angling, travel, and restoring classic Volkswagen campervans, interests that reflect the same hands-on mindset we bring to every job.
